So up until recently Charlie and I were under the impression that we had no choice on our electricity provider! NOT TRUE! Apparently it is an unregulated commodity and we have many providers to choose from. They are not allowed to buy the rights to a neighborhood or anything like that. For whatever reason when we closed on our house we were handed a sheet with our providers on it. CoServ was the only one listed. So with them we went. I don't know if there is a kickback to someone if they push us to use them or what. But either way we will be changing. According to this website which shows you all the providers and there cost, we could be getting a lot better of a deal. Plus we can lock in the rate! Thank you dad! www.powertochoose.com
