We have re introduced the pool to Savannah and they seem like they will be good friends! We took her once on Wednesday evening and then we also went over to grandma and grandpa's house to swim. She is loving the water!
Savannah has the sweetest little curls. I don't think they will last her entire life, but for now I'm loving them! I love them even more in the summer as the heat seems to be making them even curlier:)
Savannah isn't quite ready for her toddler bed, but we did move out her changing table and give her a big girl dresser and nightstand. She seems to long for the changing table, so we just do it on the floor. It was a nice little change/addition to her room. Toddler bed to come later:)
I am 24 weeks today. Time isn't flying, but that is ok and I mean that in a good way. I don't want time to fly during this pregnancy. I'm not sick and all is well, so time can just mosey along:) Next doctor appointment is today!
I finally got our sono pics from our last appointment uploaded. Try not to laugh to hard at his face shot, kinda cool but scary:)
I have been wanting to make one of these for awhile. And I actually bought the items a couple weeks ago and just finally had time to make it this weekend.
I bought a flower peg because I liked the shape and it had places in the back already set for it to be hung on the wall. I was going to do the letter "S" but her name is already written on her wall, so I did it a little different. Just bought some ribbon and then I had the rest at home. I painted the flower and letters. Then hot glued the letters on and the ribbon in the back. Poof, bow holder:) To easy!
Savannah and I enjoyed a beautiful relaxing weekend. She has a sand box and a little water table. Plus we also just bought her this wacky hose thing. She is obsessed with everything water right now:)
So I'm about a week late, but that's just how it is. Last weekend I went out of town to see my sister graduate at Ole Miss. It was a beautiful weekend and her graduation was outside. I loved getting to have one on one sister time. I spent the night with her at her apartment and got her hooked on Glee. We drove, which meant I spent most of Mother's Day in the car. I got home around 5ish just in time to pick up Chili's to go and see my precious Savi before bed time. I haven't grabbed a picture of it, as it is already out in our yard but Charlie and Savi made me a garden stone. I made Charlie one for Father's Day last year, and this year I got one. It has her hand print in it and the date. I love it!
This week has been busy! I had dress rehearsal and dance recital this week. All the kids did great! We did a "Seasons" theme this year.
We have projection of different images around the entire wall. This one is a winter theme, and the girls are on stage with the presents.
Savannah is all about manners. She says "thank you" in reference to several things. When she wants something she usually says "thank you." :) I love it even though she isn't using it in the right context. We are working on please a lot right now. Below is a video of her politely putting her hand over her mouth and coughing and then saying excuse me! lol it was so funny! She kept doing it over and over. I had to catch it on video:)
We were so busy last week with it being Charlie's birthday and celebrating with everyone. Charlie turned 29 last Wednesday! Last year of his 20's:) On Tuesday we went to Pappadeaux for dinner. He loves that place. It was freakishly crowded as it was the last day of all you can eat crawfish. Gross, but whatever. Savi lasted as long as she could before we were just past pushing our bedtime. I had to leave a little early to get my girl in bed. That's what happens when you have a good routine I guess. I'll take it! I think Charlie enjoyed himself, and that's all that matters.
On his actual birthday, we celebrated at Melting Pot. Seriously one of our favorite restaurants. We were going to go for my birthday as we normally do, but I still was sick from pregnancy and didn't want to waste it. So we held off for his birthday. We went with his brother and his girlfriend. The food as always was good, but the service was not. We had food/drink spilled on us twice! Needless to say, I was nice and spoke with the manager the next day and certificates are on there way in the mail:) The last of the birthday celebrations was with my parents on Friday at On The Border. He loves Mexican food:) All in all, a great celebratory week of Charlie turning 29! I gave Charlie a personalized monopoly board that I made. It was a kit. We love to play board games together and I thought this would be fun. It was fun to make and he really liked it. You can get it off Amazon.
Baby Update: I am officially half way through and feeling good. This boy KICKS non stop. I'm worried about food with this kid. He kicks often but also I can tell he kicks at meal times. When I'm hungry, so is he and he lets me know about it:) I eat small portions often and Savi is a normal little eater. I'm worried about the meals I will have to cook my sweet boy.....Lord help me:) My belly is definitely here and growing. Doctor appointment next week! Oh and we have a name for this sweet boy. Charlie is a Jr. and he would like to continue that tradition. So it will be Charles, III (he will prob go by Charlie just like his daddy though). I have no idea how we are going to keep them all straight as there could be 3 generations in a room at one time. But for now he is baby Charlie.
