We have had some gorgeous days lately! They are getting hotter and hotter, so I'm not sure if that means summer is coming early, but we will enjoy them while we can! I got the wagon out and walked the kids to the park. Little Charlie could be happy in the swings all day. Savi just wants to explore. Love these moments with my kids:)
Below is us enjoying another pretty day at mims and pops house (Charlie's parents). We enjoyed a fun relaxing day and ate ice cream sandwiches outside.
I took the kids to the doughnut shop this weekend for breakfast. It's always a special treat and so fun to take them. They both just sit and eat with big smiles and are so happy. It truly makes life seem simple and so easy at that moment.
We took advantage of a neighborhood Easter egg hung and our church's egg hunt. The first one was super fun. It was in my friend Kristin's neighborhood, so we kinda tagged along with her:) Lots going on and some long lines, but still fun. The kids did great at the hunt and then we played in front of the bubble machine for a bit. They had a cute little petting zoo that both the kids had fun in. At that point there was lines for everything and little Charlie doesn't do line right now:) So we went to eat and finished out our fun afternoon!
The next day we went to our church's festivities. It was really fun too! Only downside was there timing. They didn't quite seem to understand that having tons of eggs in front of kids and making them wait 45 minutes till the hunt was pure torture for them and there parents.
I'm glad I got to take the kids to some fun activities. I'm looking forward to next weekend! Charlie has off on Easter! Family day!!!!
This little boy loves....LOVES....to brush his teeth:) He runs to the sink and climbs up on his green stool and is so excited. Makes me so happy:)
And I think it is here to stay! I mean, don't put it past Texas to have a cold snap, but we have had consistent 60's and up weather. It is so nice:) I took off work yesterday and we played in the back yard and went for a walk.
A couple weeks ago was my birthday. Just so happened it fell on the night of the Oscars. So my friend and I decided to throw a joint Oscar Birthday Party. Her birthday is 2 days before mine. It was fun!
For how cute I think she is. I'm biased of course, but it is my blog.....so it's ok to say that. I love her (and her little brother) with all my heart:)Her poor little brother has an ear infection in each ear. Little Charlie is slowly becoming his happy low maintenance self.
Savannah finally got her first hair cut. She did SO GOOD! I was really proud of her. We took her to Sweet N Sassy for her first cut. She watched The Little Mermaid and didn't squirm one bit. They cut just a little off. It looked nice and fresh and she still has her curls! Topped her off with some glitter in the hair, a heart tattoo on her face, and a sucker. She looked like such a big girl getting her hair cut:)
I had a little fun this year with the holiday. Ok, a lot of fun:)
Last night I got together with my friend Jackie and we made a cute pinterest project. Yummy, easy, and cheap!
We gave the kids a few extra things then we normally would due to being super lucky and being given the toys in the pic and saving them for vday:)
Valetines might be a "fake" holiday, but who cares. A day set aside to make sure you let the people around you know you love them is ok by me. Just make sure you do it throughout the year as well:) Happy Valentine's Day!
